Planner

Medegen Medical Products, LLC, a Medical Action Company is seeking a

Planner for a 24/7 injection molding operation.

This position will be responsible for:

·         Drawing up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts and/or customer orders.

·         Analyzing production specifications and plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements.

·         Gathering performance data and assesses whether or not departments are performing according to production schedules.  Producing reports that evaluate plant capacity and identifying areas where improvements can be implemented.

·         Analyzing inventory levels, production speed, and product demand to determine the amount of finished product that will be produced.  Determining the best metrics to use to provide the most accurate representation of the forecast.  Working with other departments to determine optimal inventory levels.

·         Planning and scheduling workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times.

·         Planning sequence of fabrication, assembly, installation, and other manufacturing operations for guidance of production workers.

·         Expediting operations that delay schedules and altering schedules to meet unforeseen conditions. Assisting in the root cause analysis on work order problems and issues with production and warehouse personnel

·         Conferring with department supervisor and team members to determine status of assigned projects.

·         Preparing production reports.

·         Preparing lists of required materials, tools, and equipment.

Requirements

·         2-4 years experience and/or training.

·         4 year degree preferred.

·         Must possess excellent communication and organization skills; be able to interact with various levels of internal personnel.

·         Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks is a must.

·         Experience with SAP
